Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actress and producer. She is gaining recognition for her exceptional roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with many awards for her performance which includes an Oscar. Early on her acclaimed actress started performing on stage in various Broadway or Off-Broadway shows. Acting has always been her passion. In fifth grade, she played Helen Keller in an original play. Following a bout of mumps, she became deaf in one of the sides of her ear. This was not enough to stop her desire to become an actor. As a teenager she studied drama, and eventually moved into New York City. Hunter made her Broadway debut after a chance conversation and Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated for Broadway Crimes of the Heart. The first time she appeared in a film was when she moved in Los Angeles. Over the past three decades Holly Hunter has been on various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has also won her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
