Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothin But A Number was released in 1994. The album, released when she only had 15 years of age was certified Gold. It was done as part of a group that was greatly inspired by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew the most-sold single. Aaliyah's sophomore album called One in a million came out in the year 1996. It featured the top smash single,"If Your Girl Only Knew. She was a part of martial arts legend Jet Li in 2000's action-romance film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002 she was part of the film vampire Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels followed, with Zee playing her role. She has received four Grammy nominations from 1999 to 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is the first generation Indian-American to be born and raised in Connecticut. Her stage name Mann is an abbreviation for her marriage name Mankad. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as professional names. Although she began with small TV and movie roles, her acting started to gain momentum around the mid 2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has appeared in numerous commercials, including Volvo's global car maker. She is currently working on her acting career with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
